This was a tasty morsel. I think its my first reelin', but I need to check. Good show, good energy, the flow from the crowd to the band and back was palpable.
From what I heard doing the post-show mix, the crowd is noisy. This is could be a great taping venue, and we were in a good spot (thanks Steve), but the were a tad anal about stand height, hence the crowd noise. I may employ countermeasures of some sort tonight.
Anyway, enough from me. Congrats to Kurt on his Strazza, thanks to Carolyn and Andrea for making room for me on the rail for a while, good job, Kev, keep it up, thanks Jen and Elizabeth for coming through, and a big welcome to Art, our newest moe.ron.

Marcus and Moe with Mo
Seemed to me Sat show was flat, with lots of repetitive rhythm sections, Sun was spendid. Justa Whoa Moe.Show! Sadly, my buddy Mo could only make the Sat show--his loss. OTOH, the sound here is typical Marcus--Thanks So Much! Just sample the 2nd Seat of My Pants for a few seconds to get that great Marcus sound. So great to be able to bring moegins to their first show (Lanie and Bruce) and then present them with a CD as well. 4 stars here, solid 5 for Sun. Tip Jar for Marcus!--

Exciting and Different
It's nice that this recent early summer 09 run has some really varied setlists and unique segue combinations. This recording sounds great - clear and present, with a nice full (not too muddy) low end. Vocals are really nice and clear, Thanks Steve!
SOMP > STF > Mexico is an excellent, fully segued powerful start to the show. Creative and Perfect!
Faker > BIBH is really nice (and if you're talking about the section that starts at about 10:27, that's always been part of the Faker, it just never made it onto Dither).
Reelin > 32 is the monster I expected when I saw the setlist on PT. Jazz >(nh) cathedral is interesting, but I am still waiting to hear a strong "real" segue xxxx----> cathedral.
and there's no transition at all from Cathedral > Tailspin. Like 5-10 seconds of no music.

This is obviously a cookin’ show. The quality of the recording makes up for the crown noise. I hope someone will post the show the night before at the Majestic Ventura Theater; that was the best moe. show I have ever been to. I went to my first concert in 1965 and I can honestly say that moe. is the best group I have ever seen. Besides the excellent talent the energy of the band and the crowd got me so high I was still buzzin' the next day and I don’t even take anything anymore.

Faker -> BIBH
first off, great show last night. my first time seeing them on the west coast. definitely a different feel, but really good energy.
i have a question about the faker -> BIBH portion of the show. they played something i never heard before, like maybe a lost verse or something. or its possible that i'm crazy. let me know if anyone knows what i'm talking about and could maybe help.
see you tonight.
